  Secrets to satisfy sugar cravings  

We all get sugar cravings, some, a little more than others.  I usually get them everyday, but because I know that excessive sugar can really ruin my diet and training accomplishments, I try to avoid it as much as possible.  So instead, I create healthy snacks to satisfy those cravings. 

 

Here are my favorites: 

PROTEIN PANCAKE  

  • 4 scoops Muscle Milk Light Vanilla Protein Powder (or you can use any brand or flavor, I just know from personal use that this brand cooks well)
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 banana (optional, can use any fruit that you like)
  • 3 packets Splenda
  • Water
     
    Directions:
    Combine all ingredients into a bowl & blend, or put in a blender
    (mix water in gradually until mixture forms into a pancake batter consistency)
    Spray Pam into a skillet
    Cook pancakes like you would a regular pancake
     
    They can be served plain, or you can add spray butter or sugar free syrup)

           

PROTEIN PUDDING  

There are two ways to make this.  

1)     Mix 2 scoops of Protein Powder in a bowl and add enough water (while stirring) to bring to a pudding like consistency.  

Or  

2)     Buy fat-free pudding from the grocery store and add 1 scoop of Protein Powder to it.  Mix it up and there you go!!!!

 

 

 VANILLA LATTE  

Mix 1 scoop of any Vanilla Protein Powder with 1 cup of regular coffee!!  That simple!!! 

 

RICE PUDDING  

Mix 1 serving of Cream of Rice with 1 scoop of Protein Powder, mix it up…..taste great!!!
