I'm going to help each one of you give yourself one of my
popular "Healthy Kitchen Make-overs". Each week I'll share a tip that will put
your kitchen on the road to recovery:).
When grocery shopping, many people often buy in bulk, while you may think
this saves frequent trips to the grocery store, it really doesn't. In
actuality, in only increases caloric intake. When you have a huge amount of
food & snacks sitting around your kitchen, you will be tempted to eat it,
and when there's a lot of it, you'll keep on eating, probably a lot more than if
you had fewer supply.
Tip #1:
On your next trip to the grocery store, buy less, make what you
do purchase last you for the week. It may increase your trips to the grocery
store, but hey, at least you'll get in more exercise.
We all like to have something to munch on for snacks. But if we don't have
healthy things handy, those snacks end up being loaded with sugar, carbs, and
high calories.
