Give yourself a "Jana's Healthy Kitchen Make-over"
We all like to have something to munch on for snacks.  But if we don't have healthy things handy, those snacks end up being loaded with sugar, carbs, and high calories.

Tip #2:
When grocery shopping, focus on buying snacks that are low sodium, low sugar, low calorie.  Get in the practice of buying limited food that you know you'll binge on (chips, sugar filled pop, etc), so that it's not just sitting freely around your house.  That way, even if you do get the urge for them once in a while, you'll have to make a special trip out to get it.  Chances are, you may not even feel like going out and you'll end up snacking on something healthy anyway!!

Here are a few healthy snacks that I like:
nuts
low-fat yogurt
fruit
jello
hummus
pita bread
